The men in our church come from all walks of life but we have found that the majority of men in our church work in business and technology — a part of the “always connected” workforce that spends a large part of the day in front of the laptop.
Every fortnight, the church runs three different groups so that we can spend time “off the tools”.
The purpose of men’s Bible study is to spend intentional time growing together in our knowledge of the Bible so that we can be better followers of Christ.
The sessions usually last around 90 minutes and they are located in the homes of people in the church in the Hills and Blacktown areas.
Recent sessions include:
- Towards Belief – a new series that looks a responses to some of the most difficult questions in life.
- Judges by Tim Keller – an inductive Bible study looking at a book in the Bible
- The Next Story – a book by Tim Challies looking at the impact of technology and how it affects our thinking
